Farryl, during the lunch break, comes over to sit with Viivi without her having to ask for the first time. Viivi's intense aura provides an awkward tension for even someone as close to her as Farryl. Farryl presses through the tension unhindered and converses with Viivi as though nothing has happened. He innocently attempted to relay what Hailey informed him of but the mere mention of Hailey’s name throws Viivi into an uproar. Viivi snaps viciously at Farryl with an aggressive snarl. She warns him to act like the previous moment had not happened. Viivi continues on to mention how she hates her life and she cannot continue pretending that all is well anymore. Farryl promises to take care of Viivi and recommends her to go home early until she is feeling better. Viivi begins to protest but then realizes all of the unusual reactions she has been receiving lately. Her brother, her parents, her bullies, and even her teachers all knew the drastic change she has gone since the assault. She quietly nods and heads home.
Upon seeing Viivi leave, Hailey quietly approaches Farryl and gently sits down next to him. She nervously inquires why Viivi left so suddenly. Farryl explains why he insisted Viivi should go home until she is feeling better. Hailey agrees that it is for the best and wishes to send her best regards. Farryl nods and explains now is too soon as her name alone is too much for Viivi to bear.
Viivi is overwhelmed by the plethora of emotions crashing down onto her. Overcome by wrath of wanting revenge for her most recent humiliation to the on setting depression caused by the betrayal of someone that she finally allowed into her private, secluded world that was not related to her and then to be further torn asunder from guilt of the trouble she is causing to Farryl. For so much on her mind in each a different direction, the only thing that comes natural to her is locking herself into her room and sort it out through overwhelming tears. Listening in on Viivi's tears, her mother's newest boyfriend creeps into the room, pretending to comfort her. Viivi continues to wallow in her grief when she finds her body suddenly pressed down and overpowered by the room's unrequested guest. Viivi panics as her body refuses to respond to her mind's request to run. Viivi begins to cry harder as she feels her clothes being pulled off. Her mind regains control over the fear for a moment as her knee thrusts directly into the groin of her predator and she darts out of the house in a river of tears.
