Uncertain of where to run to in her panic, Viivi flees to the sanctity of Farryl's car as it returns home. Viivi explains what just happened to her through her tears. She breaks down and tells Farryl all of the details of what had nearly happened. Farryl comforts her as Hailey steps out of the car. Hailey mutters that now would not be the time and walks home while Farryl comforts his sister. Viivi begins to ask but her distraught state takes over.
Farryl feels a need to get Viivi out of the house and begins to take her to a mall but stops at the end of the neighbourhood with the decision after recalling what happened to Viivi the last time she was there. Farryl drove out to an abandoned area and Viivi burst into tears and spent the entire night struggling to put everything in her mind into words. Farryl waited until she collapsed from exhausted and crying every last tear she could before returning home. Out of fear of what happened beforehand, he stayed in the car with Viivi.
Viivi is too exhausted to go to school from all the panic and upset of the preceding day. She also was unable to face Hailey as her fears from the mall and yesterday worried her that Hailey might be stealing Farryl from her. Viivi decides to call up Farryl and regretfully tells him that she still is unable to come to school and requests him to pick up her work. Farryl supports her and encourages her to take the time that she needs to recover from her recent events. After hanging up the phone with Farryl, Viivi laments admitting the truth to which she is unable to face being seen as such a lowly misery. She then comes to a fearful realization that her cowardice will draw her bullies to Farryl while she hid from them.
