Elemensional Rift makes an explosive return to Momo Con 2025

NR, utd. has returned to Momo Con once again to showcase the continued development of Elemensional Rift. The growth and hard work put in over the past year is really showing off and bringing things together. Not only has the crowd of Momo Con been patiently waiting for Elemensional Rift to finally begin to open up the early access, but we developed many new fans and had consistent crowds at the booth. It was quite hard to keep up with all of the action going on at the booth.

The stats tracked also showed a massive growth as well. We were just a hair under double the number of free play sessions than the previous Momo Con’s play sessions. The total number of arcade runs also nearly reached the number of freeplay sessions. There was even someone who came in skilled enough to conquer the secret boss of the arcade run! We also had someone set forth a near impossible to beat speed record for the Survival Mode by a blistering fast time of 38 seconds and 157 milliseconds. To give a frame of reference, the best time of the story artist was 1 minute 15 seconds and the project director got down to 1 minute and 8 seconds.

The tournament was also a huge success as well. The intense competition brought out some high level of gameplay. Each competitor came in with fierce determination and grit! Each entrant had performed multiple play sessions throughout the weekend. The bar was raised so high that former multiple tournament champion of the early days of Elemensional Rift, Ron Jones, had this to say:

The tournament itself was laid out of a double-elimination and every participant brought their very best. It was hard to say which battle was the most iconic of the tournament because each and every battle throughout it was intense. We saw so many battles come down to high damage and both players on their final life. Many rounds went into the third round. Taborn even got a loss early on and came up through the loser’s bracket to get a rematch against Jesper for the end of the loser’s bracket. The intensity was certainly surreal!

Here are pics of some of the participants and their prizes

Lastly, but certainly not least, a rundown on some of the stats of usage as that is quite important to quite a few players who are tracking how the meta grows:

  • Saturday alone of Momo Con 2025 had more matches than ALL of Momo Con 2024
  • The top 3 usage at Momo Con were (in order): Crispy B., Zanipher, and then Neon
  • Each of the top 3 averaged a use of greater than 1 in 4 matches for the full weekend (with Crispy B. having an average greater than 1 in 3 matches)
  • Both 4th and 5th place in usage (Kaizen and then Nekuen) averaged above a rate of 1 in 5 matches.
  • The 3 lowest used were (in order of least to most): Mr. Bishounen, Mana, and Drake
  • Last year, Crispy B. had the greatest quantity of wins. This year, 5 characters each got more wins than the number Crispy B. had last year. In order, they were: Crispy B., Zanipher, Neon, Miroi, and Nekuen
  • The 2 characters that earned less than 5% of the total number of wins: ‘Zieque and Mr. Bishounen
  • The 2 characters with the highest win rate are (both over a 75% win rate) : Miroi and then Mana.
  • The only other character to average above a 50% win rate is: Drake
  • The 2 characters with a win rate less than 33.3333% (or 1 in 3) are: ‘Zieque and Kaizen
