Tournament Results

For Tournament Organizers below

For top 8 format reporting, if you would like to use a handy pre-made graphic, you can use this link on the website Top8er.com. Top8er.com is a separate entity of Elemensional Rift and NR, utd. and is gracious enough to hold the template on their site. You can read more about their website in their About Us section or check out the other games they have a provide graphics for. There may be delays in the process of updates in regards to the additions of additional outfits.

To submit the tournament results, e-mail them to support@nrutd.com and include “Tournament results <date of tournament>” and you can include the image or the results of the tournament. Also, if it is a regular local tournament, include the name of the host location, format of the tournament, and the contact information of the organizer. If it is a special event tournament (ex: a tournament at a convention), include the name of the event, format of the tournament, and contact information of the organizer of the tournament.

Additional tips:
* The character colors are in the order of rotation. Some players in the eSports scene look for ways to build an identity and can be known for using a particular palette. Running a tournament can be chaotic and NR, utd. will not enforce matching palettes but it can mean a lot to your participants that are trying to build that identity. It is only recommended to try and match when one is able to do so.
* When possible, try to include the players’ Twitter name in the Twitter Handle field. This can help the community better track their favorite players, which will lead to those same followers wanting to know more about the locations the player was playing at. NR, utd. understands the tournament scene is important and wants to help the tournament organizers continue to grow the locations where they have tournaments.
* For non-team tournaments: Some players may have a main, a secondary character (also commonly called a “pocket character”) and sometimes even a tertiary character. Players of the community like to look at these results and try to build their own tier lists out of this information. It is not required to record, and some players may only have a main, but it is something the community will ask about.
* For Onslaught tournaments: to display a players’ entire team, when entering the data, click on the + in the bottom-right corner of the player data. This will expand and show the secondary and tertiary character the player used.
* For team tournaments: It is recommended putting each team in the appropriate player ranking bracket that the team reached. If the team did not have a name, place both names in the player name field.
